The greatest gift is the passion for reading. It is cheap, it consoles, it distracts, it excites, it gives you knowledge of the world and experience of a wide kind.

Will Aid 2018
8 Oct 2018
Its nearly that time of year again; No not Christmas, just yet!
This November, Grainger Appleyard will be participating in the annual Will Aid month and appointments are available at both the main Hall Gate office and the Tickhill Office.
It is very important to consider your will provisions and November being Will Aid month is an excellent time to make your first will or review your current one.
You will have the benefit of a professionally drafted will and the only cost is your donation to benefit the work carried out by the nine Will Aid charities. Since 1988, more than £15 million has been donated through Will Aid and millions more has been promised in legacies. The donations have improved the lives of children, families, older people and whole communities in the UK and around the world.
During November we will waive our normal basic will writing fee and instead we will prepare a simple basic will for an individual or a basic mirror will for couples. All that we ask in return is that you make a voluntary donation to Will Aid. This year the suggested donation is £95 for a single basic will and £150 for a pair of matching mirror wills but the amount you donate is your decision. If you have a large estate or your circumstances are complicated, we may still be able to assist and we can advise you of how much the additional work will cost before you decide if you would like to proceed.
Before attending for your appointment you should consider all your assets, property, possessions and money and think about the people or organisations you would like to remember in your will. The Will Aid website (details below) has a useful will planner that is available to download to assist you.
As well as Will Aid, a parallel scheme is also offered for the same period to benefit Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Please book early as we get very busy. Please telephone on 01302 327257 and ask for either Emma Tomlinson (e.tomlinson@graingerappleyard.com) or Lisa Bulcroft (l.bulcroft@graingerappleyard.com) at the Doncaster office or alternatively Diane Coultas at the Tickhill Office (d.coultas@graingerappleyard.com).
