Clive qualified as a solicitor in 1998 after gaining an honours degree in Law from the University of Liverpool and then attending The Chester College of Law.

Clive has worked in various litigation roles in South Yorkshire and Humberside for over 30 years.

Clive currently spends approximately 65% of his time undertaking general civil litigation including contractual issues, company and partnership disputes, neighbour and boundary disputes, landlord and tenant issues, contentious probate including Inheritance Act claims. 

Clive currently spends approximately 15% of his time undertaking employment matters including wrongful/unfair/constructive dismissal, redundancy, discrimination cases and for employers, can provide a review to determine standard contracts for employees, content of handbooks, including grievance procedure and deal with appeals concerning unfair dismissal.  Clive also provides advice upon Settlement Agreements.

Clive currently spends approximately 20% of his time dealing with privately funded family matters including divorce, high net worth ancillary relief and children matters.

Clive is currently supervised by John Grainger who has over 30 years experience in private client matters and by Christopher Borrowdale who has over 20 years experience in family/children matters.

Clive works full-time from our Doncaster Office.
