Family and Matrimonial Department

Hours - Monday - Friday, 0900 hours - 1715 hours

Grainger Appleyard has an upcoming vacancy in its Family and Matrimonial Departmennt.  The role will be to take over a busy existing caseload of divorce, financial provision, private children, injunction and particularly public children law.

Applications are sought from candidates that already have experience in dealing with all types of family law matters although all levels of experience will be considered.  Membership of the children law panel will assist although is not necessarily a requirement.  Knowledge and experience of the legal aid schemes and procedures is important.

The candidate will need to have the ability to work in a fast paced department both as an individual but also within a team setting.

Salary is dependable upon level of experience.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload including the following matters -

• Drafting and advising on a range of wills
• Probate
• Estate administration
• LPAs
• Court of Protection
• Trusts

Essential -

• Knowledge of Wills, Probate and Estate administration, LPAs, Court of Protection and Trusts
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills

Ideally, the successful candidate will work from the firm's main office on Hall Gate in the City of Doncaster and potentially at the firm's sub-office in Tickhill, Doncaster as and when required.

Salary is dependable on level of experience.
